I, on the other hand, share him with the world. I always knew he was on loan. He was mine for a very little while. I knew he would go away one day. But I never imagined he would leave so suddenly and never look back. He went away, but you kept a chunk of him in your heart. His childhood. I think it was right in a way. He would lose his ear. Lose it here, you other's innocence

The continued feeling of being awed!

Yet there's an optimism that sparks in some corners about their relationship. But in the perimeter of the entire story, there is love, there is hope and there's a yearning or a sense you that things can get better. Love is, after all, quite wondrous sometimes.
