The teen me

article image placeholderUploaded by @Payal_Shandil
I was the wife, I was the mother, I was also the daughter. But where was the me? I smiled and moved on. Not that I could not answer the question. I am a force. I cannot get forced into anything. I did not resist answering the question. I am a wife, I am a mother, I am also a daughter and a sister. And with all that, I am also me

And so it did cause these ideas about belonging and identity and family and beliefs within the groups I was sort of born into. But when it comes to sort of these homogeneities that come when you couple, right, like wife and things like that, and then you realize all these things that you spent so much time investing in or were unconscious that you were spending time investing in because you were just actively living your life, then sort of dissolve into a singularity of life, right?

You. Thank you so much for the response and the validation. There are times still where I feel exactly how you describe that. Okay, this person knows me, but it's just a part of me. I am way more than that. And sometimes it's like, oh, I'm just being polite, and I am a good listener, but that doesn't really mean that I agree with what you think I agree with. But that's life, I guess

Hello, Pile, and thank you so much for this deep and intriguing topic. You know, I really enjoyed, as you eloquently explored, how society has this habit of creating labels that it forces on to people without consent, like, in this case, especially women, and how it becomes their entire identity, like a label of wife becomes an entire identity. A label, a daughter or mother becomes an entire identity

Hi. Thank you for the note. You know, I love them. And I agree, your definition and mine of feminism. Really? Agree. How? I see feminism is, you know, is equality and acceptance for all you do. You kind of a place, you know, it's like, okay, I don't tell you to do what I feel you should be doing, and I accept that you do the same for me

Hello. I think this is the story of every teen when one grows up. So the teen in us and the grown up is what you have. Very nicely narrated here. Thank you so much. Bye

You. This was beautiful in many ways. Again, the rebel of the rebellion of the teen, I would say. And humans, whatever cultural background they come from, whatever things they are, whatever ideologies they believe in, this is a beautiful phase of life, which everyone goes through it. Teenage is a very crucial way of life. Not way of life, sorry. Teenage is a very crucial part of life. And yeah, we are like that
