The tree

article image placeholderUploaded by @Payal_Shandil
We will accept it as payments. As if you give money. You and your clan are nothing more than greedy money grabbers. Another woman chimed in. We worshipped this tree for years. The wood is our prasad. The village headmaster wanted to make a few benches with the wood and perhaps mend the school fence. But he knew his voice, no matter how loud, would not be heard. The tree grows besides my field. For generations everyone's cut through my crops to reach this tree

On service and rewards

Thank you, Payal for sharing this story with us. I think whenever there is a question about ownership, a question about some gains, you always have so many contenders for it that it amazes you. And I think this story reflects this and puts it across in a very subtle fashion. Thank you so much for sharing this. Bye

Thank you so much for leaving a voice note. You know, I always find it very encouraging, so your notes are always, always welcome and much anticipated. Yes, you are right on the fact that ownership is almost always about what can you gain through that ownership? I've never, ever heard of or seen, seen anyone fighting for liabilities yet. It's sad, but it is the way the world works. Thank you so much again, and see you around. Bye

Thank you so much. And, yeah, you're very right in saying that you haven't seen anyone fighting for liabilities or responsibilities. And I think the day that starts happening, the world would be a wonderful place to be in. So thank you so much for your kind words, and have a lovely day. Bye

Hi, Bayer. Thank you for your response on my swell. And also thank you for inviting me on this beautiful swirl called tree, where it holds a very hefty symbolism. And it further also extends its symbolism not just for human relationships, but human and nature relationships. So it was really great hearing that out. And lastly, how it ended that. Not today. So it's never a day to cut trees. And to many more such amazing spells. Thank you. Have a nice day
