The aftermath

article image placeholderUploaded by @Payal_Shandil
The 18 days created heroes, great warriors and victory songs for generations to come. Yet all that belonged to the emperors, the kings and the gods, the poor people, the farmers, the foot soldiers, shared no part in the glory. They said that the battle was fought for the victory of good over evil. Yet the lives of the people was shattered on both sides, and the task of rebuilding the nation rested squarely on their stooping shoulders. Thank you for listening. Apologies for the tongue twisters

And they add on to further disaster to the entire nations on both the sides. So I think you have given a very beautiful description of this battlefield, and one can't really be considered as victorious because he emerged as warrior somewhere by defeating his enemies around. It's more about the courage to find a way through which a peace relationship, some middle path can be taken to build a healthier relationship between the two nations. That's more important

Thank you so much. And I agree with you when you said that unfortunately, women are the ones who suffer the most. And yes, I took inspiration or the piece from Mahabharat. But of course, what I am trying to say here is true for all times. And perhaps this is why I picked up Mahabharata. Or the tiny mention of Mahabharat is because growing up I listened to the tale as wow, victory of good over evil

You. Victory is not all about killing the people. It's all about defeating them. If one is able to conquer his inner battles, if she or he is able to win their own mind, then no one thinks of a war. A loudly take on how the pillars of history made of dead bodies. It made me think and left me with a lot of questions. If our victory destroys other peace, then is it really a victory? Thank you for your wonderful narration

You. Battles are not won with destruction. Battles only bring about destruction in their wake. And it happens on both the sides. The general public suffers the most. Thank you for sharing this. Bye
