So without using any other resources that were available to me, I decided that I had to do this on my own and by myself, and I was very successful. Again, we have to balance, especially us who are not homeless, and we have to take all this into account. How much are the city governments getting in funding for homeless people? What is the addiction problem opposed to mental health issues?

So I definitely agree with this, how they organize it, and even what you said, those that don't have the jobs are top of the list. I've seen that so many times, when any of these programs really it's like the criteria and what they use to justify who they give it to is ridiculous. It doesn't make sense most times

You're absolutely right in what you stated. I also feel this way. And here goes a thought for you. If homelessness ended right now, this very moment, here goes the problem. All those organizations, all the homeless shelters, they would all be out of jobs. There'd be no more employment. And yes, the problem would be solved

If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense. I don't care what good an organization seems to be doing. They might be doing good, but I bet you their bottom line is doing better, because it's always about the money. Always follow the money

They're just not taking advantage of it. But like Angela said, what do the people need? Have you actually talked to a homeless person or a homeless community to talk to them and understand, what do you actually need? What do you feel would help you get off the streets? Instead of us trying to do the thinking for you, tell us what you need to get off the street to get out of this circumstance
