And thinking about Ophelia's post the other day that I responded to and her ability to just sit and have such resolve and just sound positive and lovely and was delightful. And I'm harkening back to the things that I said to her. And I'm remembering that I had spoken about, even in an earlier slow, that this particular birthday is a major transition from devastation from my third cancer and a devastating surgery that gave me a colossal bag
I don't have a caption, per se, but I'll offer a photo and say, although we may be feeling like this little character and things don't always go the way that we want or expect, there can be beauty in the brokenness. That photo is beautiful. All just beautiful. And maybe I would even reframe that and say it's not brokenness per se, but it's an opportunity for restructuring the building blocks

It was designed to create space for the change that I needed within myself and my own spiritual journey. It was the beginning of a whole new relationship to what I called God. It was the beginning of his they, whatever of it, its evolution into this energy and this light and this love that is not written anywhere. It became the first steps into finding that, and that is huge. And I wasn't done hurting from what had happened. I still hurt, but I was no longer alone
