Starting my own practice + answering psychology questions ❤️

Hey, everyone. I know it's been a while. I hope you're all doing well. I actually took some time off because I finally started my own practice. It's called Serenity Wellness, and I've just started building the page on Instagram, so it's been taking a lot of my time. It's always been my dream to provide affordable and accessible therapy to everyone, anybody, and give back in my own way

Hey Swell! I finally started my own therapy practice, so if you or anyone you know needs sessions, do reach out to @serenitywellness_yp on Instagram!

But anyway, I think the first session is therapy can be really sometimes intimidating, especially if someone is going to therapy for the first time. So how to recognize whether a certain therapist is going to suit someone or not?

They should be acknowledging what you want and how you want to go about it and what your goals are in therapy. And they should be going ahead with that. They shouldn't be the ones deciding for you what you should be focusing on and what should be more important for you, et cetera. That is one thing. The second thing is their methods, whatever they use. So, again, this is not a red flag
