It was also a wake up call, and it had been happening in other places, but it made me realize that my family was suffering because people were taking advantage of me. And everything that I brought to the table, singing, preaching, writing, composing. You know, God blessed me and gifted me, and I was really taken advantage of in some ways. I allowed myself to be taken advantage of. My ego was involved
