They treat others the way the other person wants to be treated, rather than the way they would want someone to treat them. And that can lead to some pretty I think that's somewhat of a lazy approach because a lot of times people they have all sorts of motivations
It could be that they don't know how to interact with a clinical narcissist, for example, and so they're not equipped in that way and they're doing the best that they can. This seems sort of a different topic, but it's really connected here, I think when it comes to lying, we're told growing up, never lie. And yet the reality is it's much more nuanced than that

Yeah, there's a couple things compounding that whole paradigm, but definitely different ways of communication. Empathy. Now that at the end you said, well, it's hard to define empathy. In fact, it's more than simple understanding, although that can be. It has more to do with feelings. But it's like don't know. I haven't gotten frostbite, but I've gotten very cold before and numb and in pain in some of my fingers or toes or even my feet
