And I don't do that thing of avoiding political topics or this topic or that topic because someone's going to get upset. The topics themselves are upsetting. It's all right. I like digging into them. And I don't think my views are particularly inflammatory to most people because I'm libertarian mostly. So it's not like I'm saying, oh, you should vote for this person or that person. No, not really talking about hopefully changing the system into something that makes more sense

And if I don't want to talk about politics because I don't believe the way that she does and she gets so defined over it, then when she brings it up, I'm going to say we're not going to talk about that and I'm going to set the boundary. I don't think that we need to disown our friendships because someone believes differently, because we are allowed to believe differently. We're allowed to have our own minds

As an example, if I had a friend who loves sports, they would know not to talk about sports this way. It's okay, I might watch them if they're on whatever, especially basketball. But I don't like sports. I know it's untypical for guys, the average guy, but it's not like I don't care about them, but I don't go out of my way for them and I certainly don't want to discuss them. They're not interesting to me
