You. Not yet. Not yet, you say. That's another brick on the wall. Not now. You say. That's another moment of my life wasted. Trust me. You say. That's another crushing defeat of my feeling. Because all I know is the you and me who wouldn't say, not yet. Not sound

Hi Deepa. This is such a beautiful poem and I think a lot of people are going to relate to it because it happens a lot of times maybe in our relationships, in our friendships or any relation for that matter where we want to make things happen. We want to make a day count, but the person we are talking to, the person with whom we want to make the day count, that person is just not willing to

I have to agree. What a superbly written ditty. And so well executed. I'm not a big fan of poetry, but this caught my eye for sure

No, not yet. That's another brick on the wall. For me, this suggests the accumulation of barriers or obstacles that are there in the relationship. And the emotion is reluctance or hesitation somewhere contributing to a feeling of being held back or restrained. This repetition, the repetition of not now what I feel, it emphasizes a sense of postponement or delay. What I feel is this time is slipping away. It's an amazing piece of work. It has got me thinking
