The billboard knows hip hop

article image placeholderUploaded by @OmegaStrange
The Billboard named Jay Z the number one rapper of all time. And, yeah, what do you think about this? There's been some backlash. There's been some harsh reaction towards the this title that JZ holds now, the number one rapper of all time. And this is coming from the Billboard. So if they say it, who can argue? Right?

Cultual impact can make you the greatest of all time.

I feel sean Carter. A-K-A-J-Z. He's probably in my top 15, but personally, not my top five. And that takes nothing away from him. But these sort of lists, they don't gauge vernacular, penmanship, intricacy, storytelling. There's so much that goes into what for me, becomes a top rapper that any magazine really just is. They're just about clicks. And of course, this is something new. Jay Z can brag about being a billionaire

@FryedOreo @OmegaStrange seems a political/marketing decision

It's more like he might be the most bought of all time, but not even I mean, take someone like Tech Nine who's incredibly profitable and an amazing producer and not really as known as maybe Jay Z. I don't know. But I agree with Dewuan. There are definitely Eminences that are far more influential and far more skilled. I don't do any hip hop. I can't rap worth my life

He's been a top Drake hit, like, every week since he started doing his thing, and all his hits only get knocked out by his other hits. So I think you've got something to say about this. But if we're talking about greats, just based on greatness, we got to say something about Rockham. What about the teacher? As far as, like, hip hop itself? I don't know. There's a lot of people you got your peat rocks

You had Mac Miller, so you I think Eminem had a huge influence, in my opinion, on hip hop. More influence than JZ. Yeah, I said it. Nas, eminem had more influence on hip hop than JZ. But don't get me wrong, JC had a huge influence, but we want to look deeper into it. I said what I said unless I'm convinced otherwise. But, yeah, man. I want to thank you for replying to this. Well

So hip hop should be all about how you can the impact of your work. Smith right. Your work skill should have an impact on hip hop, like the Knives, even cannabis. But they're talking about songs that appeals to the masses. So I get what they're talking about. But naming our rapper the greatest of all time, they need a separate award for that

So this was like a big moment in hip hop because hip hop, they've been kind of, you know, the grammys usually don't cope with hip hop. Not like that. But now they see hip hop. I mean, there's no rock and row. Rock and row is pretty much dead on a mainstream level. So, yeah, hip hop is hip hop is what it is. Even if you hate it, you have to acknowledge it. And that's what the grammys did
