Pause

There is a devastating chasm that glimpses through the cracks like a nagging question, a dispassionate endurance. It seems distant, abstract, not quite immediate. But I feel it in the paws, close enough to whisper humble words to this existence. And I wonder in those moments if all we consume is but a shallow pool in an ocean of forever. If what we fight for and grope in fashioned minutes of hurried measure will be of consequence at all or worthy of remembrance. In the pause we find perspective

And I have a master's in counseling, and one of the big teachings in counseling is not responding immediately or filling space, but allowing things to sink in, allowing the client to sit with feelings. That gives us this beautiful, expansive place that is also safe to explore. So I am a big fan of this one. Thank you so much once again for your gorgeous words
