Social media serves as valuable platform for basically disseminating information news, raising awareness about important issues, quickly reading, reaching a wide audience, sorry about that. Some of the disadvantages of course would be superficial connections so it can sometimes promote shallow interactions with basically emphasis on likes, followers and superficial validation rather than meaningful relationships. Another one would be miscommunication and misunderstanding. Basically it lacks nonverbal cues leading to misinterpretations and misunderstandings, potentially causing conflict or basically strain on relationships
