Universal Basic Income Key To Solving Homelessness?
There's new data on the use of universal basic income to combat the rising homelessness crisis in the United States. Hi, Lee. I just caught your title, universal basic income. Wow. Key to homelessness. Well, I caught the homelessness part, and I'm always looking for. My name is Shawna. I'm on Acorn Bay, and in my community, I'm in the state of Maryland on the eastern shore, and like everywhere else, the homelessness is a big deal. And sicky income. I don't know much about the basic income structure. It just sounds not a good idea
So again, I think that there definitely needs to be a larger conversation on maybe I'd be down for universal therapy where everyone can be provided with a quality therapist before everyone's just given a couple of their name every single month with doing nothing. I'm not opposed to universal basic income. I think there's definitely a larger conversation to be had. But when it comes to aiding homelessness, I don't know that it will help the people who actually need the help
