And yet he treated me. He told me basically that what I did my job as raising children and paying bills and cooking and cleaning and doing all the things that a wife and mother do was invaluable. It just didn't mean anything. It was what I was supposed to do and it didn't count for anything more than that. And I didn't do a good enough job of it. And I'm divorced after 25 years and I feel like I have become more of a hermit

I don't care if it is your mother, your father, your husband, your wife, your children, they're not worth it. And I say that in such anger because I have allowed that in my life.
