You have done bad deeds in your past life, so you get paid for it now, right? And it all makes sense. No, sense is not science, okay? I am a science kid, I like science. But sense is not science. So just because it makes sense, doesn't mean that it should be scientific. It's logical to believe in this, because we are humans, we like to make sense of things. We like to have a meaning for something, right?

And while, like you said, that this might not be be very quote, unquote scientific, the way we understand science, this just makes sense because at the end of the day, the universe, according to us, humans, has to have some sort of an equation, right?
