The Seed

article image placeholderUploaded by @NancyKuykendall
First with music, which I'm not discussing today, but also with books, because I'm endeavoring now on a little several weeks project of talking about the pathway through beginning to write and all the things that can happen along the way. But today I want to talk about the seed that was planted in me, too, actually, that I never gave thought to until I was much older and within the last ten years, when I was about nine, and that would be like, 1966

Sometimes childhood play is a seed of what’s to come.

So let's keep conversations like this alive so that people can be made aware just how much of a gift we have to break. Those generational curses, if you may, or the chains of doing something that doesn't fulfill our deep, deep, deep centered childhood self. So thanks for your post. And thank you for doing what you feel like you are meant to do. And I trust that you'll continue to encourage others to do the same

I know we like to think of childhood as sweet and innocent, and that's not the case for everyone, but there was for many people, there were innocent times, innocent moments, maybe, alone, playing. And what did you dream of doing when you were playing? Because we've heard that a child's play is really how to communicate. And so I certainly agree, especially having at this point, I've raised two children, and it's been very involved with my nieces and nephews

And one day I was taking her to a McDonald's, and there was a man outside, and she would not be okay until we bought some food for that gentleman and took it to him. And we did. I mean, she had a heart for social work when she was a very young child, and it was obvious. So she ended up with a master's in social work and even extended education after that

And some of my writer friends and I, we go and we stand up and we tell stories. We don't necessarily read them. We might tell a story we've written, but we tell a story, we're storytellers. And I will stand in front of the crowd. It could be anywhere from ten people to 50 people and I'm not afraid
