And then something incredible happens. She lifts her long leg and kicks her baby hard enough that it swings in the air and again bangs hard on the ground. The baby is again in shock, not feeling his or her complete senses. Yet the mother giraffe continues to hit her newly born baby and it keeps falling and bearing the pain. The mother giraffe kicks the baby again and again until the baby giraffe stands on the ground, happy to see the baby standing on its own feet
