Because when I was with whoever, man, if I had to ask for help, then I felt like that was their doorway to take advantage or mislead me or take advantage and that they could dominate me. And I played the man in many of my relationships because I had to be the woman and the man because I was a single parent. And so that being said to ask for help for me was a negative thing
