No Substance Part 1
You are missed that pierce for a little while and then vanish. James tells we don't know what will happen and life is nothing but a mist. And it comes and then it disappears. Life is too short not to wait on God to help us plan our life. Life is too short not to hold on to God. Life is too short to ignore the things of God. Life is too short to turn a deaf ear to his word
And I was just curious if it was because of my names and mama, if it was because right now, me posting about, like was it the subject matter of some of my posts about living to my life's potential? And trying to make some tens of plans for the future after the loss of my daughter. If it was just comfort to help point me in the right direction or what? Again. Really? I'm just curious
People tell people that once you give your life to God that everything stops and that everything is in and everything's perfect, and it's not. It's still chaos, but in the chaos, you still find peace. In the chaos, you still hear God's voice. And when we lose someone, whether it's immediately or throughout our lives, that person life is like a vapor. Even ours. It comes and goes just like that. I can remember when I was 18

And I was married to a minister and had a lot of experiences, positive experiences before and after that one, but it did a lot of harm. And then at one point when I realized that I was a much better taste in women than men and found my life partner and all the things my family just couldn't get past any of that. And I've always had the strength that I have in God and I didn't have to have those other things. God provided it for me
And we can miss the relationships that we can have, the learning and growth and just experience of humanity. But if you or I get too selfrighteous in that or think that somehow we've arrived or we've got whatever, we hold the key. I think we just get in the way of ourselves. And at the end of the day, like, I think that's why church is turning a lot of people off
And I think I have a devotional that says don't be judgy. Because a moment people become the church goers they like to judge. We shouldn't judge. That's not our job. Our job is to love and teach the world and preach the gospel or teach the gospel. It's not to bother people. And nick pick people because Jesus never nick picked when he was on this earth. He loved and he explained and he talked. He set with the sinners
