You were right about those friends of mine. You were right. It's just that you don't want to see your child hurt in the process, and you don't want pain to be the only teacher. But sometimes pain is a teacher in certain situations

And people were like, yeah, I'm not so sure about it, but I guess they went to maybe the Pharisees or other council to say what you're going to do about these men who were walking around claiming that Jesus is the Christ. And they were basically saying, if this thing is of man, it's going to fizzle out. But if this thing is of God, there ain't nothing we could do about it

I actually do have another church situation that I can apply that scripture to as well but as far as your dad, I have gone through a similar situation. I'll have to reach out to you privately about it but I have gone through a similar situation to that and mine unfortunately is if not as resolved as yours is at this point. But yeah, I can totally relate to that. And yes you are absolutely correct in everything you said in your reply and thank you so much
