Man: It’s Too Much Pressure To Date Black Women

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
And we have very unreasonable rationale as to why we need this type of person. And so, I don't know. Something needs to shift culturally in our community. I don't know if it's ever going to go back to the way it used to be when people dated with more real listic expectations. But something definitely needs to shift, because this is getting ridiculous and completely out of hand. Thank you so much for listening

And that money really requires a certain mindset that if you are asking for things to be paid after three dates, I'm assuming you're the kind of person who is also probably into a name for their own sake as a way to show people something about yourself. I'm assuming you don't understand all the sacrifice it really takes to really live well on that kind of salary. There are a lot of trade offs that are involved in it

However, we've heard this, and we're hearing this very often in from black men across the nation, different socioeconomic statuses, different ages. And so, honestly, black women can either believe that all the men got together and decided to just bash us in our conversations, or we can really look at all these different men saying the same thing and wonder and recognize, rather, how much truth is in their words. Right

So I don't know what that looks like if men decide to do that, but I think if you, as the most eligible man tend to have those kind of standards, it forces women to kind of, not in the same way women will force men to, because, let's be honest, the power of the p is a very powerful thing and men don't have that

Get all that hard stuff out the way. Save the romance to the day. You say, I do. And now you can be free to go, whether it's cheesecake factory, Popeyes, or Shayla Rue. Wait until you get married to do all that stuff and stop making it so hard in dating. So I probably have even more to say, but I'll leave it at that

So if you're a man, regular or not, successful or not, and you run into a woman who has gone to school, made a career for herself, and after three eight are asking you to pay for bills and the idea that she wants you to take over, you have to understand, as a man, especially in today's day and age, on a usual basis, one, income does not pay for a household in the way it did 20, 30, 40 years ago, one, two or three generations ago

But he's running into a lot of the same issues that these men are talking about. And so I for sure do not want my son being taken advantage of by somebody he barely knows. He's paying her bills, or she wants him to take her to a $500 restaurant and therefore his date. Absolutely not

Also, you, if you see that you're picking these same kind of women, and every time you end up in the same situation, you're spending a bunch of money on a woman, then that's a you problem. That's not a them problem, that's a you problem because you're the one that's picking them

But also, too, I guess I can put some of the responsibility on the men because in this case, this man says he continues to run into women like this. So what kind of women are you meeting? Where are you meeting these women at? What types of women are you attracted to? Does this behavior go along with that type of woman?

They still have nice hair. It was very common to see women, black women, with beautiful, thick hair, no matter what their genetic background was, they still had thick, beautiful hair. And it was because they weren't relaxing it like that. They were using a straight comb from time to time, and that was only on special occasions. But otherwise, they knew how to style and take care of their natural hair

Nobody puts his feet to the fire over that and say, what kind of man are you that you are allowing a woman to take care of you. But yet if a man is taking care of a woman, it's a problem. It's a problem. Just like that post I made yesterday. How much should you give up? Or would you be willing to give up to help someone reach their dream?

If you want to talk about what it's like to find people, I guess you know better than anybody because you're out there dating so much. But if you're talking about how to sustain a relationship, it never looks the way you think it looks on tv. Or if you're comparing relationships to famous people, then you're an idiot. And I'm not even saying that to be facetious, like you literally don't have the intelligence to understand that those people have a different lifestyle

Black women do not out earn black men. I think the average income is like, there's a $3,000 discrepancy. So it's nothing crazy. I think it's like 41 and 44, respectively, black men to black women. But it's nothing insane or anything crazy like that

But it's not widely promoted. And yet the women's side of things is often promoted. Thank you for the information and the stats on black women not necessarily out earning black men. Even when you mentioned home ownership, I have a swell in queue about that as well, because an article came out that basically list data from 2019 saying that single women own more homes than single men

But if he's not a good human being, if he is not someone that you can point to and say, hey, when my son grows up, I want him to be just like his father. If you can't say to your daughter or look at your daughter and say, when you grow up, I want you to be with someone just like your dad, then it's all for nothing. It's all pointless. It's all just for facade

That goes without saying. But the deeper things, and these singles aren't even worried about none of that. They worried about how many kids she got and how much money she make and all that stuff. And if she make this kind of money, she's going to have this kind of attitude. And if she's this age, it's like all this stupid stuff. And like you said, they're just bitter, upset. They don't want to come out and say it
