The Death of Natural Beauty

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
Now that plastic surgery has become so much more affordable and accessible, people are able to get some of those nips and tucks and other procedures that they were at one point in time not able to afford. I remember when plastic surgery was for the wealthy. You had to have money if you wanted to have breast implants, if you wanted to get cheek fillers, if you wanted to get your nose done and all those things. You had to have a lot of money to get those kinds of things done

So, I mean, definitely understand in regards to self improvement, but then it's like, the sad thing is that they're not really giving themselves to grow into the beauty that God has designed them to be. Just impatient with it. And that's just what happens with that. But I just wanted to say that. And again, thanks for letting me chime in on this, and as always, stay blessed and keep inspiring

So your looks are not always going to remain the same, but who you are as a person, your personality, that can only get more beautiful as time goes on. Your personality is the only thing that gets more and more beautiful if you work on it. Peace. Have a nice day

Hey, Ms. Cole, another great topic. I think it's becoming more popular because, like other cultures, like japanese culture, for example, we've arrived at a point where we are creating a culture around an aesthetic, an aesthetic that extends beyond, like, clothing, which is typically how it went here, and then it went to makeup. Makeup became far more exaggerated, more like performance makeup and hair, of course

It's going to be painful, risk of infection, the recovery time, et cetera, et cetera. And so why someone would choose to go under the knife, especially for a BBL, because a BBL is simply cosmetic. Right. But a BBl is also one of the most dangerous procedures, cosmetic procedures. Because if they put that fat into a vein or artery, you're gone. They have to put the fat into the. Well, the muscle, I think

Like, people want to be thick, but to be thick requires weight, and you don't get to choose where the weight is. But unless you're having surgery, then you got these people with these hips that's a size 20, and they got this little waist that's a size six or two. It looks ridiculous. People moving ribs used to have a smaller waist wearing those little waist trainers. It is awful. And this is why people don't know what true beauty is

And sometimes the judges would just ask them straight up, are your breasts real? And there have been times where some of these young women would lie and be like, yeah, these are my breasts, knowing full well that they weren't real breasts. And then they would have to come back and repent for lying and saying, these are real because they weren't going to take them if they had fake breasts. And one thing about being a supermodel, you basically have to be a canvas

And she was walking around this lounge, and none of the men looked up at her, not one time. And I don't think it was because of the way she looked. But of course, you're walking around all these men with the expectation that when they see those breasts and that behind, they're going to pay attention and they're going to want to talk to you. So it has to be disheartening to pay al this money for all of this plastic surgery

And it's a shame that as a culture, that we have gotten to that point where we don't celebrate individuality and uniqueness anymore. You got to look a certain way in order to be culturally acceptable now, and it's crazy. Thank you so much

They got to have the same tiny waist, the same bbl, the same big breasts, the same tarantula eyelashes, the same lace front wig. Everybody's got to look the same. And so now you're just seeing a bunch of clones. You're seeing a bunch of clones. Everybody looks the same. And I wish we could go back to the days where we loved ourselves and we loved our culture and all of its differences and all of its different phenotypes and all of its different DNA makeup

And, girl, when she lost all the weight, she lost the BBL with it because the fat dissolved when she started losing weight. So it was a waste of money, a waste of time, a waste of pain and suffering just for her to end up without the BBl, even though God told her, don't get it in the first place. And so, yes, none of these plastic surgery procedures are a guarantee. I've seen botched breast implant surgeries in my field
