Microaggression Moment: "Wasn’t Your Hair Different The Other Day?" 😤

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
And leave it at that. We don't need you to point out that our hair didn't look like this the other day. We don't need you to ask questions about how our hair is growing so fast just because we got braids today. How did your hair grow so fast? Is that all your hair? Is that all your hair? Can I touch it? Stuff like that? You just leave it alone. We don't need you to touch it

#We are who we are !!!!! Be you

So I just think it's just people. Some people are so stuck in what they do, they don't see that other people are not like them. We are different. We are different in our own unique way. And it's okay to be different. So you change your hair every time you want to change it. And I don't think it was so much of her being that color. Maybe it was, but I'm telling you, I get it from anybody

If you want instructions on how to get yours like that, just say that. If you don't understand it, keep it moving, okay? Because it's our hair. Whatever we choose to do with it, just like you choose to do your hair a certain way or not to do your hair a certain way, that's your business. I don't go along asking you, why didn't you comb your hair today? That's kind of boring hairstyle. We're not rude like that
