Travel RN gives health advice to obese Tiktok influencer and receives backlash!

You're going to have to parlay that into something else. Because eating at that rate and eating those portions of food, you can't build something sustainable doing that for a long time. So hopefully she can parlay that into something else that can launch her into a different path. But I understand what the nurse was saying and I don't think that he was trying to target her to be mean or what have you

So to sit there and watch people eat their food and eat lots of it will probably make me physically ill. I didn't know about mukbanging until a few years ago when it was circling around on the Internet and I was like, people actually doing this? But yeah. And so I watched the link that you provided here, and it sounds like the young woman said her husband cooked the food for her. So it seems like he's encouraging this or maybe I'm reading too much into it

I figured I'd be a good waitress because I like my food a certain way and I would do the same for other people. And I'm friendly and personable. I'm like, I'll get a lot of tips. So anyway, I could respect seeing people out at a restaurant and happy and eating. So that's as far as I go

Five years from now, she's not going to be able to be on there eating like that. What's going to happen? Is she going to be on that 600 pound show with doctor now and then that's how she'll be getting her money that way because she'll be on there and he'll be trying to get her to lose weight so she can have a surgery. This stuff just be ridiculous to me

Somebody jumped in, and then there were times that people didn't. And, man, that was hurtful, especially because I didn't say anything then. And I think it's more a testament to not just us observing what we observe for entertainment, which is very telling about a culture. It's the other subcultures that are built around that. Like, what do we say yes to with our support or with our, you know, protest? It's kind of scary in a way

And I'm glad that somebody was bold enough or brave enough to say, hey, look, in a nice, loving, professional way. Look, he gave the same advice your doctor would give to you. If your doctor saw you in the office and you were weighing 300 pounds and told him that you were doing this on social media, I mean, he would give you the same advice. So, I mean, I hope that she does change, and she would just parlay her talents

But it was healthier overall, I guess, than know eating McDonald's and her eating fried chicken and all this stuff. So I don't know, maybe something he said landed on her, and she felt like, okay, if I'm a mukbang, maybe I need to mukbang healthy stuff. We'll see. But thank you so much

And everybody is not clean. Everybody doesn't have clean habits when it comes to putting food on their plate and stuff like that. So I totally get it when it comes to the buffet thing. And so, yeah, I don't blame you a bit. Thank you so much. Bye

And this man, who is a professional in his field, who also had a weight loss journey himself, he mentioned that he underwent gastric bypass surgery, so he knows the journey of losing weight. So he wasn't speaking as someone who doesn't understand or can't relate, although I'm willing to believe this young lady, I know she was probably a big girl before she started doing this, but her mukbanging is probably contributing to her weight issues

And we need that and so her rebuttal and her attitude was bad. And again, you can see where clearly she's carrying too much weight. I'm looking here from the other, I see the hyperpigmentation. She's probably got insulin resistance, right? Just forget what size you wear. I can see the insulin resistance around her eyes and the hyperpigmentation, things like that. She may have developed PC os. I'm thinking about all those things that you can see outside of what size you wear

I think we're all guilty of it, most of us, to a certain degree. But, yeah, I love hearing the sound of something rubbing against a book. And another guilty pleasure of mine. I love watching travel vlogs on YouTube, people going to Japan and securing their apartments and homes, talking about what they're doing over there. I like watching them go to the street vendors and picking out certain foods that looks exotic, like on a nice day like today

The vast majority of them do. But you know what? They're enablers. They're in a codependent situation. It's not a healthy situation. The person who's overweight needs that person to continue to bring them food, to cater to them, to take care of them, because a lot of them are bedridden. They can't get up and move. They can't go to the bathroom. They can't bathe themselves

I love watching YouTube videos where they show different rental properties in different countries, in different cities. I just love to see how people are living and how much they're paying for their space. I like that kind of stuff, too. I don't know if it has, like, an ASMR effect. I think it's more of a curiosity type thing for me. But the chopping of the vegetables. Yeah, it gives me a soothing feeling, relaxing feeling to watch people do that

I bought his book because he is on YouTube and he cooks these mouthwatering vegan dishes. And he's Cantonese, so I love how he starts the video saying, leho ma, how you doing? In Cantonese. And he begins to fix these amazing dishes. And I just love watching his videos. It is so relaxing to watch. I loved it so much that I just went ahead to his website and purchased his cookbook
