Lauryn Hill Acknowledges Her Lateness and Doesn’t Care How It Makes You Feel
Is she late getting to the venue? Is she already in the building and just late getting on stage for whatever reason? Is she waiting till she feels like she's ready? Is she fighting some type of vocal issues or whatever? We just don't know why she is late. Habitually tardy to all of her performances. But it's nothing new. It's nothing new at all
I could imagine that putting out the book, there's expectations, but there's also comparisons going to be made. Right. Anyway, I think we forget maybe that they're human and then demand what's ours or what's due to us when we are lucky that they create anything. Lucky that they come to stage, that they even offer the opportunity for them to come to the stage

So, yeah, if I'm spending money for a concert and that's time, because you're going to drive, you're going to be in line and all that, trying to find parking, have the decency, like, to show up. And I did hear Christina's reply above me, and I know we've talked about me and her, talked about being on time and what it takes sometimes, why people are late

Fans that expect her to continue to produce music, and Lauren expecting people to wait on her as long as it takes for her to come out there on that stage. And so very interesting dynamic here. Very interesting. Thank you so much for your input

At the same time, if you are selling tickets, that means that you are promising to deliver goods to your fan base. And if they show up for your concert at 08:00. Now we know. Typically now, I don't know how Lauren's concerts go, but typically with any concert, you always have your opening acts. You always have your one or two bands that go before the main act. So Lauren is the main act, of course

Like, okay, you all lucky that I'm here that I even showed up. And then the fans are like, well, you're lucky that we even paid. We could have used this money to put towards the light bill or something like that. I don't know. So everyone feels a certain way. And then the second side of this is that performing is grueling. It's hard, and you don't want to be beholden to anyone

And if she could just connect with her fan base and to pay that forward in a way by being on time and respecting people's time and the money that they spend to come see her do what she do at a very high level, I think it would help her legacy out a lot more than it does now. Yeah. Lauryn Hill is amazing, though. She just need to bring it all together, in my opinion

Hey, thank you so much for your response. And I agree with you. I agree because she. The fact that she is notoriously late, that is mostly what she's known for these days. She's known more for that than. Of course, I know she hasn't produced any new music, but that tends to overshadow her musical legacy. The fact that she is notoriously late for concerts, it.
