He Said He Wanted To See Me Au Naturale….

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
Hey, swellcast family. I hope you're having a wonderful Friday. So I know we live in a world now where it's all about the makeup tutorials. It's all about the bundles and the lace fronts and the lashes and the contouring makeup and all the things. And I know that even though as women, we claim that we only do this for us, but we do it also because we want men to take notice of our beauty as we are presenting it to the world

But essentially he is saying, I want to know that I'm both comfortable with you and attracted to you. What can Bobby be the same when you're just in your everyday whatevers and not only that, that you're comfortable with me, that I get the same person? When you don't have all that other stuff on you to present yourself in a way because really, then all you have is you. And that's what I'm going to live with

When you are sick, you are at your worst. And I thought, my God, if he see me at my worst, he didn't run or nothing. Then he's a great guy. And I don't need makeup. I just put it on because, like I said, I have circles under my eyes, dark spots under my eyes, and I really don't like that about myself. So I cover it up. I like eyeshadow and I like lipstick

My husband and I, we've been together forever, and I love it because he is a person who loves natural, but he's seen me with makeup and hair done and things like that. In fact, I have the opposite issue. I need to play in my makeup a little bit more because I bought some new mascara and eyeliner and things like that, and I've only used it maybe once or twice this year so far. Ever since COVID I haven't found the pandemic and everything

Natural me…with glasses and without. But, I need my glasses to see🤣

Hi, Tanya. Thanks for sharing. Great pick. But of course we knew that that you're just a natural beauty. I figured. Seems like we're doing a thread of all natural. So this is a picture of me. No makeup. I actually haven't worn makeup since pandemic. And I used to be that person, like your friend who wore it

But at least to get to know what is behind the makeup, that is very important to me personally. I really value to see someone naturally. And this guy, I think he cared about you. He wanted to get to know you, the real you. Evelyn though later on, if you put the makeup on, he knows who you are. That is my guessing

It's such a shame I don't have any pictures of me pretty much without makeup. And it's not because I'm trying to that I don't like myself. I love myself. I want to enhance what I already have. So my makeup is really not to cover. It's to enhance. The only thing that I try to cover is the blemishes under my eyes. But other than that but this picture here is the closest I have to no makeup because who does that?

I don't know how you guys feel about that, but that's my query. And then I was raised to just say thank you to a compliment or not be boastful about stuff. Be like, oh, yeah. Okay, baby, I look great. Thank you. I just say thank you. But sometimes I don't always believe it, and I don't want people to get burnt out. My husband get burnt out because he compliments me, and I'm just like, thank you

Like, me and one guy that I was dating, we FaceTime a lot because he lived like 2 hours away. And he was like, oh, you real comfortable with me. And I said, Why? And he was like, because you got your bonded on. And I said, well, I mean, I'm be honest with you

Hi, Tanya. You know, you have come up with a beautiful topic today. Makeup or no makeup, what's really important that how beautiful you feel from inside out. That's really very important. You don't need a flawless skin. You don't really need to cover up your craze. You don't really have to go that extra mile to cover up your flaws. All you need is to love yourself just the way you are. That's far more important
@MsColes77

So they're telling you you got to put on makeup. And so that's what we do. We're conditioned to put on makeup. But the reality of it is and maybe we deceive ourselves into believing that our made up face is who we are, and it's really not. And I know there are some women who just don't like their natural look. That's why I appreciated Alicia Keys when she decided to just go natural and say, man, bump the makeup

You don't have to wonder what I look like without makeup and without being in my normal attire. You don't have to worry about what I look like and I don't have to worry about you wondering what I look like without all that, because now we've removed all that, and this is who I am. So, yes. I love this. Thank you so much

I go to church with a girl, she does not wear makeup at all. She ain't never liked it. It ain't never been her thing. And she's gorgeous without it. She's married, got kids. Beautiful young lady. Doesn't wear makeup. And so makeup is not for everybody. It just isn't. But we're all beautiful. We're all beautiful. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I ain't going out the house in no pajama pants. I ain't going out the house in no house shoes. I ain't going out the house with no bra on and all this stuff. I ain't doing that. We ain't getting carried away with the casual, but I'm not going to put myself together head to toe just to run to the store for about an hour. I'm not doing that

Most women aren't going out the house every day looking like that. It's for the purpose of just art and to show you what you can do with makeup, but not because they expect you to wear this look to work or anything like that. But, man, in some of these cases, these women are, like, four and five shades lighter. They don't even look like the same person, like, at all. And I get it

So definitely start taking selfies where you don't have no makeup on. You want to be able to be proud of the way you look. You want to be proud of your skin and just being real with yourself and going, okay, your makeup is beautiful, but all of that is not. That's not you. That's not how you were born. That's not how you wake up. That's not how you go to bed. So, yeah, get used to doing that

They do their hair a little bit, and they put on a little bit of makeup and stuff, and they get back in the bed and have their husband thinking, this is how my baby looks every day, and she's just an angel. She's just how my baby looks every day. It's like, no, it's not how she looks every day. When I think about back in the stuff, they had a much, much higher beauty standard back then. They expected women

But I sleep with my glasses on. This might be TMI, but I even have sex with my glasses on. I don't like when a man takes my glasses off, period. I don't like it. First of all, my children, everybody that knows me and that see me without my glasses on, they say I look beautiful without my glasses on. To me, I look ugly. So I never take my glasses off. Plus, not to mention, I can't wear contacts

I don't like it, but I'll try it. So here's a picture of me with no makeup. I had to sit here for almost 45 minutes thinking, should I even show this picture?

But yes, I don't think that my husband should come home and see me looking the same way I was looking when he left for work that morning. I don't think that that should be the case every day, especially since I work from home. I have plenty of time to shower. I have plenty of time to put clothes on. I have plenty of time to do my hair and makeup

And it's not because I'm this quote unquote natural beauty or any of that stuff. It's just that I spend the majority of my life without makeup on. So to not have it on in front of a guy, to me, is just not a big deal. Because if we go work out together, I ain't going to be wearing makeup. So if we go hiking or something like that, I'm not going to be wearing makeup

I'm more or less laughing at myself, because when I sit back and think how little I wear makeup, I barely ever have to buy makeup because I never use it enough to really run out. I might run out of makeup every few months. I run out of eyeliner and mascara more than anything else, because that's just how little I wear makeup. But again, everybody's different

And then I have to buy more because I don't go out a whole lot, like church out. If I'm visiting my mom or other friends or other family or an engagement or something of that nature, then, yes, I wear makeup, but for the most part, I don't. However, I always felt like when I went out, I needed it, and I still am working on that

We will buy cars, we will buy jury, but won't go to the doctor. And what we need to do is focus on the things that are priority is our health so we can be here for one another. Ain't about what kind of car I can drive or what kind of jury I can put on your finger. If I ain't here, it means nothing when you got to bury your wife. All that other stuff doesn't matter when you overlook health issues

But no, I don't want a husband that is content being unhealthy. And I end up having to be his caretaker because he's on all these different medications and has to go to the doctor every other week. I don't want that. However, none of us are perfect. So even though we can point out weight, there are other areas where someone may fall short, and weight, to me, is not a huge concern. And it's crazy because our older brothers and sisters, our parents used to dance to that. They used to dance to that song. It was a hit because people didn't really pay attention to the lyrics. For real? For real. And then you see the video and sherelle is not a young girl in the video. I mean, she's like in her 20s maybe, but she's not an underage. But I think we should be more health conscious, especially us men, because you know how men is stereotyped that we don't like to go to the doctor. I myself go to the doctor. If I feel anything that I'm not comfortable with my body, I'm going to the doctor. I don't want to be on any medication. Unfortunately, I do have a blood breast appeal that I take every day. But I do things to make sure that my blood pressure is lowered
