You just need that time to relax, to get your thoughts together so that you can take off one cape and put on another and go and finish the business of the day. So I believe that the car can be a sanctuary for a lot of us. It can be a sanctuary. It can be a place where we can think clearly, a place where we don't have voices around us, talking to us, asking us to do things, requiring things and needing things

Hey, Tanya. So, yeah, I agree with you. I don't know why they make it a man thing. I don't know what they're trying to say there. If they're trying to say, like, men don't have no peace in their home, so they got to get it in the car before they get in the house. But women do that, too. So we definitely do that

I happen to listen to it anyway, because I always do is I might get something from it, I might learn from it, and I'm glad I listened to it, because not only is this a good swell and an important swell, but it's also relevant to my life. When the mother of my son and I were on better terms, I would come home and the music would be blasting. Now, I'm not a person that's crazy about loud music

I'm still trying to figure out why she's still in the car. She can sit in the car. She go to the mall. She'll sit in the car before she even go in the store. The store is going to close

I've been guilty of calling and talking about people, that the people are in the house. I think it's okay to do that, acknowledge that men do it. Yeah, men may do it, but I know I've been doing that for years, and we'll continue to do that because to me, it's like it just gives me a time to be alone in my thoughts. I'm not responsible for anybody. I don't have to do anything
