Hey, swell family, I hope you're continuing to have a great Saturday. So a while ago, dear Ani Ange did a swellcast on megachurches and I just wanted to follow up and do one on small churches because I've attended three churches in my lifetime and all of them have been relatively small. The first church I ever attended had maybe 250 to 300 members on the role, maybe 100 in attendance on a given Sunday. The second church that I attended was a new church

My dad there was like third denomination, but free will Baptist. With my dad's mind, my dad associated with many people, different denominations, different colors. I mean, he didn't care. He was there. And my dad actually been a minister. He was a minister. He played keyboard or the piano. He played guitar. He played. What else did he play? He played harmonica. I don't think he dabbled at the drums like that

So they just trying to go follow their visitor protocol, get your name, get your information, so that they can send you a thank you later on that week or whatever, or keep in touch with you, invite you back. But that sense of warmth and community, it's hard to get that in a large church. That's why I love the small country churches, because they do make you feel like you are really a part of their family, and I enjoy that
