But at the same time, I can't assume that everybody wants to hang out with me all the time. I can't assume that everybody wants a hug for me all the time. I have to understand how to love people where they are. I have to communicate that. And that's something that we often don't do in relationships, especially in the beginning, we don't communicate the things that we want and need because we are trying to impress people so much

And if so, how a do they self soothe? Because we have to take care of ourselves first. We have to be the source of our own contentment and happiness and joy and love and peace. And then two, how do they communicate that to someone that they decide to be in a relationship with or to be friends with or even family members? People sometimes hear that and think only of intimate relationships but let's throw in there the non intimate relationships as well

Somebody feels like they're being emotionally abandoned, or if they're not being heard or not being seen in the relationship, or if they're thought to be too clingy or too needy. All those things can be a result of us not understanding how people attach and how we should I won't say handle them, but how we should connect with them and nurture them, depending on how they attach or not attach. And so these things are really, really important

You know what I'm saying? So that was poor love right there. Poor sportsmanship. But as the years turned, I got older, and I see that you got to give to get. And I'm in a whole nother chapter in my life. So I feel that I wasn't given then, but I'm giving now. So what I receive, I should receive the same. And I can say all is fair in love and war. You know what I'm saying?
