You know, they can have some real swag to them, even though they may not look it. And so maybe these guys are charismatic. Maybe they're gentlemen. Maybe they're just kind. Maybe they have a lot of qualities that women are attracted to aside from appearance, and that's what helped them to win some of these women over. So, I don't know. What do you guys think? Black women, we tend to be a little harsh and push away the guys that could be for us. But I was never like that. I always saw beyond, like, the appearance and such like that, and. However, I would date a guy that's geeked out or whatever because, one, he looks very smart. He looks like he, um, handles himself very well in life because he don't have all that tattoos and all this other stuff. I'm not attracted to that. So each woman is different. Now, the black woman effect, I can see that. I can see how you would dress him up because, like I say, we do fashion so well, right?

And we can look at certain men and tell, okay, he's not the. He's not the captain of this ship like he may be, you know, the image to present it to make things look good. But she's running the ship, and we see that a lot. I think that black women feel like it speaks to their value to be able to attract someone that's not black, because I think that black women just feel like the only man we can really attract are black men, whereas women of other races can attract men of different races. One of the things I noticed in these videos is that these couples were very young when they first got together. And when you're really young getting together, you're not as picky about that sort of thing because both of you are still trying to find your personal style

So this is actually very new to me because I visit book clubs online. Some of them are interracial book clubs and some of them are not. But so far, the black women within those clubs, they're not even remotely interested in non black men who act black or try to have black swag. They're into masculine men who are just men
