Remember those 1am trips to Walmart? Good times…..

And it was such a distressor. It was one that we took for granted, because once the pandemic started, the end of the 24 hours shopping also began. And at that time, we didn't know that three years later we would still not see 24 hours shopping in Walmart. Now, I can't speak for every Walmart in America, but I can just speak to the ones here. None of them are open 24 hours anymore. None of our groceries are open 24 hours anymore

Oh, they got new ones. Maybe this kind, Mom. Because they were able to actually go in there and see, I barely go in that store. My husband is the only one that shops at Walmart because he wants to go in there. I ain't going. I'm in the car or I'm at the house because it's too much. But I'm so grateful that you brought this up because, yeah, we need that browsing time. We need that

You got WAlGrEeNs they're no longer open 24 hours. Kroger is no longer open 24 hours. It's like all these places just a few years ago that were open 24 hours, and you could shop any time of the day and night. It now, I mean, some of these places, you better get in there before 10:00, 11:00 Walgreens is open till midnight. But it's just crazy how times have changed

I've been heaven because going to Walmart at the regular time on an afternoon or early evening in this part of the country is like going to purgatory. You are in purgatory because store is crowded. Even the self checkout is crowded. You cannot win. There is no winning. You may go there to buy four items. It's still going to take you at least an hour, maybe an hour and a half to get out of that place

I'm not going in there because it's always jampacked, crowded. It's ridiculous. But I did not know that there weren't 24 hours Walmarts out there before the pandemic, even because ours was. I was surprised

Hey, Javon, thank you so much for your response. Yes, 24 hours Walmarts were definitely a thing here. I think we only had one that was actually 24 hours because we only had one. It's the Super Walmarts that are 24 hours typically. And so we had one Super Walmart here. We had two or three other Walmarts, but they weren't considered Super Walmarts because they didn't offer groceries. But, yes, 24 hours shopping here was definitely a thing
