#TellYourStory: What Are We Tolerating That’s Keeping Us From Going to the Next Level?

Yes, it's a job with benefits and all the things that Gen Xers and baby boomers look for in a job that our younger counterparts could care less about these days. But the job, essentially, the current job, that a job role that I'm in, there's really no opportunity for advancement beyond where I am. And the job itself has become quite routine

And I said, no. And so he was like, you can't see that stuff, but you know it's there. And I'm the one that made it, so I know it's there. He said, so why don't you trust me to know that that stuff's there, but not trust me in your spiritual life with what I'm trying to take you to?

And then when I release certain things, like, I was talking to my worship leader the other week because my music teacher also teaches his daughters, started giving his daughter lessons. And so his daughters are there when I'm arriving for my lesson. And one week, my music teacher was running a little bit late, so I sat and was just talking to my worship leader, and we were just talking about church and things that we want to do on the team or whatever

The commute is like I'm driving on the highway and I'm like, oh my God, I feel good about this. I do work from home a couple of days a week. I'm home today. I have a beautiful big office. When I am at work, I have less work. I don't have to supervise anybody

Not feeling good enough when it comes to the area of love, I will say that that's something that I struggled in because I've been people's ride or die. But they dropped me off at the first bus stop, okay? And then they come back around to the bus stop, and I get in the car. No, they drop me off to the bus stop. I walk, get a car, see them driving. Tell them, get out your car. Come in my car

And it's easier said than done, but totally can relate to what you're saying. And I find there's a lot of people who are always on that career, how should I say? They always have that career plan going twenty four seven and then strategically jumping from one company or one organization to the next. And then finally they reach a certain level and they're working 24 hours a day. And you know what? If that makes them happy, more power to them
