Andre 3000 says at age 48, he has nothing else to rap about

Hey, swell family, I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday. So last week, rapper Andre 3000, who used to be one half of the rap duo outcast, dropped an album. And as highly anticipated as it was, because Andre has not dropped any new music in at least the last almost 20 years or so, as highly anticipated as it was, it wasn't quite the album that people expected

I'm still the same Erica, but I want to do the things that I want to do before I have any type of regrets. There are some people who I talk to who they say that I will regret not traveling or be careful. I'm going to have some regrets not doing this and not doing that. But what people don't realize is we each set our own personal goals of what we want to achieve. And the biggest regret is not achieving what you want to achieve, Eve

For some reason, there's been a age limit put on hip hop. I don't know what that's for. I know Jay Z has claimed to be retired several times when he reached a certain age, but yet the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Rolling Stones guys are touring well into their 70s, probably making more money than they ever made

Hey, SIS, thank you so much for your response. You're right. Andre has always been the more eclectic, artistic one in outkast, and you can start to see that as their music evolved, like, they went from well, the first album was what southern playlistic cadillac music. I think that was the very first album they had from there to at aliens to sanconia to speakerbox, the level o, all that stuff. Idle, wild, all that stuff

And I thought that that was a very important genre apart like subgenre of hip hop, like a subcategory of hip hop that I think that we have forgotten and overlooked the young men of the 90s that were very intelligent and very well learned and produced great music. But the hip hop that typically hits the top of the charts is the hip hop that is more geared to younger people

I remember hip hop being born in the in the Bronx in the 70s. So I think it started there. The origin of hip hop was very educational. The KRS ones, this was hip hop was very political. It wasn't until the late eighty s to mid 90s where we got into the Paid in Full with the Eric being Rock Kim's and stuff like that, where hip hop started to take a turn, right? It was no longer this thing that people wasn't paying attention to

I don't know anything about Anderson Pac, but it just jumped into my playlist one day. YouTube would throw in songs that you never heard of, and I actually like a couple of his songs because off that album, actually, I like all the songs off the album because it seems like it's old school mixed with new school. And he's like rap singing. I'm not really into rap rap anymore, but I like how it's rap singing

I don't know if you even want to call them that in today's culture, but I will say, a lot of the artists in the hip hop genre today, they're really just industry plants trying to they're getting paid to send certain messages to this Gen Z generation, and they're willing to do whatever it takes to get money

I'm just not, I'm going to be honest. But he did the rapping, he got his foot in the door and now he's doing what he wants. That's what a lot of people do, not just musicians, but know other players do it. Like Michael Jordan. What he do?
