Oceangate: A case of the Haves vs. the Have Nots

Hey, swell Cast family. I hope you're having a wonderful Friday evening. First and foremost, my prayers go out to the family of those that were lost in this ocean gate tragedy. They were fathers, they were sons, they were brothers, they were friends. And we want to continue to pray God's comfort, strength, healing, peace for their families, loved ones and friends, all those that were connected to the ones that are no longer with us

A $250K trip is one that few will ever make in their lifetime. #oceangate #titanic #titan

Okay, I'm just gonna weigh in with my two cent here. It's probably more like $0.20, but I'm gonna give it. I do feel bad for his family, for all their families, because they were people that had families that loved them, that needed them, and they should be here. However, the the foolishness of money, yes, they might have been looking for the what's next. There's philanthropy. There's humanitarianism. Join a club

By the world? I am not talking about anyone specifically, but by the world for these folks. Had those billionaires wanted to conquer a new horizon or a new summit, why didn't they take just a fraction, just the tiniest fraction of their immense wealth and helped people like those coles that were crowded onto a fishing ship, a fishing boat, trying to just get to someplace safe, get to a safe harbor?

But my thing is, this is just another example of what are we going to do with the wealth that we have? We've done everything. I listened to somebody's video, and he said, well, I'm sure that if my family needed something or needed help, I highly doubt that the billionaires would have come to my poor rescue. I highly doubt that, because you just don't hear about that

And someone had said, I don't recall, I think it might have been someone on social media, they said, these folks have made their heaven on earth, so they're going to do some weird janky things that we're not going to understand because they've clearly made earth their heaven. But thank you so much, Jeremiah. I do enjoy your responses on Swell. You brought us back to the reality of what we were being distracted from

Thank you, sir, for that. I had no idea that there was such a tragedy outside of Greece. Had no idea that there were refugees trying to escape, to be free, of course, and live a better life. And I am very sorry for their loss. It makes the world just a little bit more quieter and dysfunctional, I guess, us that they're not here. Because you're right. Tens of thousands of people probably love them, and now they've lost them

Jeremiah, I hear your heart, and I sincerely agree that, yes, we should be concerned about the lives of reserves, and we should be concerned about those who are really in trouble, those that are really in trouble, and those groups that are often overlooked. At the same time, I believe that we can be concerned about multiple causes at once

Also, rich people, they tend to I mean, they give in the safest of ways, like charities and things like that. So they don't have to do like the face to face stuff. And I'm not mad about that because people have their comfort zones and comfort levels. So we don't know what people do behind closed doors. I don't know what they do
