And even some that are saying, hey, Dion is supposed to be a Christian. So where's the humility? Is he humble or is he confident? And so I think that Dion has done amazing work already in Colorado. I think that his team will continue to be a winning team. We can't deny the impact that he has made on college sports, period. We can't deny that

Because you have a black man that has made a choice to do right in the world and to reach back and pull up young black men to be successful, independent, strong men with character, with respect and dignity. We have a problem. Well, I salute you, Mr. Dion Sanders, and I support you may never meet you, but because you stand as a black man who choose to live a life where others can appreciate and be proud of. I'm proud of this black man

And a lot of people have been kind of reintroduced to college football or introduced, and it's fun, it's exciting. And after the first week, I was like, oh, I get it. Now I get it. This is Marketing 101. You want to lead with your best product, and that's what it feels like. And it is amazing. It is fun, it is exciting. And after week one, then came the hate

And then not only does that, but he gets notoriety, he gets people in the seat. So he helps the college as well. Because people say just because he's over the football team, it doesn't mean anything that college enrollment is going to go up why wouldn't it? Why wouldn't it? Right? So the whole college is benefiting from that. So why are people so upset? I know the black community is upset with him because they feel like he left

They went to, like, Nebraska. They went to Oklahoma. They went to the big schools that were going to be on TV. They had the big money. Now. We got historically black colleges about to close now. And these are promises that he made, that he was going to do, and he was going to bring back all of historical black college football to a point where he could possibly take these kids to a bowl game which has never been done or hasn't been done since

So I say this. Basically, the issue is after making all the promises and all this that's happening now was forecasted for the HBCUs, and it would have happened. It would have happened because these kids are just as talented, if not more than some of the kids that's going to, you know, the regular schools. But he's criticized because he made promises to do something, and that was his mission

And I do think that, I believe that the, the student athletes at Jackson State are as talented as the ones at Colorado. I don't think he went there because of that. I mean, last year they were zero and eleven. So he definitely didn't go there because they were a winning team and he was just going in there and it's going to be easy street. He didn't go in there for that reason
