Challenge in Christianity

article image placeholderUploaded by @MrDee
You. Hey, family. I wanted to get on here today and just have a discussion about something I think of often. And I know there are many others who have these types of conversations among themselves. It is challenge in Christianity. I do consider myself a christian, and it most of what I know about Christianity is just what has come before me, what I've seen my family do, and that sort of thing. I've become more spiritual myself

And honestly, once you make up your mind to live for God, I mean truly make up your mind to live for God, it isn't hard to live for him. Whenever you feel like it's getting hard to live for God, that's when you know that your flesh is rising up and then it's time to bring your flesh into subjection. And you do that by fasting and praying more and reading God's word and getting the word in you

Okay, Lord, like Jesus said in the garden of Gethsemane, not my will, but your will be done. And what does God want me to do, Lord, what is my purpose on the earth? Lord, what will you have me to do today? When we live a laid down life, it's not difficult, but, yes, when we look at faith as a works based ideology, yeah, it seems really hard

Because, yeah, the people who are not in the walk in spirituality or christian or whatever have to, if we want to get them over there, we got to give them the message a little differently to help them understand, make it make sense like they say it

And no man is going to stick around a woman who every time he turns around, her body language and her actions are saying she don't need him because men want to be needed, too. So when I think about it, I think about it in that area. But this is a really good discussion and understand where you're coming from

Churches don't affiliate with other churches that are not in their denomination. I remember I grew up apostolic. The first time I experienced a baptist church, I was 18, and they started singing Dr. Watkins, and I thought they were doing a seance or something. I didn't experience Kojic until I was almost 30. And then I started learning about all these other things because they keep you in a church, and we know how strict, apostolic and kojik are. They fellowship with their own people

But I understand how that's a challenge for people because it's a challenge for me. I have to continuously ask God, I'll be perfectly honest. I'm dating and I desire a husband and I'm like, okay, God, I've been waiting this long. How come you haven't set my husband yet? Well, probably because it isn't time. Probably because I'm not ready for him because God is still revealing some things and doing some things in me
