Take the Time to Say "Yes."

article image placeholderUploaded by @Mr.Dan
Or should I watch that TV show that is like dumb reality TV that will provide no type of brain activity? No. And I realized who does that help? Who am I helping by saying no all the time? Does it help me mentally if I just keep saying no all the time? It made me remember when I was younger, me and my sister would always ask our parents can we go to Disneyland? And it was always a no, we can't afford it

Why saying "yes" more than "no" is important. #mentalhealth #selfcare #family #relationships #love

Because the closer you get to people, the more you have to lose. And the more I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. I just had this sort of fear about it. But the moment that I started saying yes and it could have been to small little things. The more I said it, the lesser scary it was and the more I got to experience and so it's something that I'm definitely working on and getting better at and yeah, I do love saying yes

Saying "yes" more.

And so I try to gravitate towards doing those things where it's just with people, I feel safe. It's kind of funny because all my closest friends, my circle of friends, we all kind of suffer from mental illness. So it's like, we all know that we all have a certain social battery that only lasts about 2 hours. So when that 2 hours is up, we already know, like, okay, guys, we got to go
