Now, if you think about all this attention or refer to it as a mere quote, unquote, hit job by conservative partisan actors. Listen to what the Boston Globe had to say in their question. Now, they're a left leaning newspaper, okay? And they asked the question, which was, if Gay didn't violate any standards of research, then why would she need to correct anything to begin with? Interesting question. Right?

You. Hey swellcasters. Yet another day. Actually, this is the the day after I posted my original swellcast on this topic, which was yesterday. And the nice thing about swell is you can create an addendum or a correction after your original broadcast. But anyhow, interestingly enough, within hours, I'd say about 5 hours of me posting my original broadcast on this topic come to find through various news channels that Dr. Gay resigned from her position as president of Harvard University

Wonderful swellcast on tap here. This is a really important conversation for thought, leadership and other things here in America. This one is a big one. So we all know that this is not about plagiarism at this point of the conversation. This is not about plagiarism, ism and the white elephant in the room. I don't know if it's a white elephant, but I'm just going to drop it here

@MotivateMeU Everybody Wins when we compensate children for bad behavior. #BeTheBeacon

It's like a flu, and we have to deal with that. We're now dealing with the hangover of Dr. Gay, of anti semitic behavior in our academic institution, her lack of dealing with it, because she's so know that's a tough spot for her to be in. She's woke, she's liberal about it, and that's okay. But when you're coming from that position, having to make these decisions, that's going to govern something bigger than one particular position

And then to discover that as the board, Harvard's board, was conducting their investigation, they found a pattern of eleven other articles that she was published in, in peer reviewed journals, where there was a pattern of plagiarism there. I mean, that is just unbelievable. I really shake my head at yes. I mean, the attention that was brought on her initially was really the entire issue of the anti semitic protests that happened on Harvard's campus

@MotivateMeU Academic integrity upholds education's credibility, promotes learning, develops skills ensures fairness, and advances knowledge.

I always say give it to the youth because they could. Might it be possible they can do a better job than we have separating politics or an education? So, yeah, I'm stunned. Thanks for this. I'm right there with you. You have a supporter in upholding academic integrity, and it should be a shared responsibility. Upholding academic integrity should be a shared responsibility. Students, educators, institutions, all citizens, it is vital for the integrity of education as a whole
