This doesn't mean that we won't go through things. We will go through. And we will feel the stress, the pain, the anger, the anxiety. But when we feel those things, take them to Him. Remember that in Isaiah 53, it says, he was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. And the punishment that brought us peace, that brought us peace was on Him. And by his wounds we are healed

For instance, if somebody that I cared about was sick and I prayed for them to get better and they passed way anyway, or if I wanted a particular job and I prayed because I really needed it, but I didn't wind up getting it, I would be like, oh, see, he doesn't answer. Why didn't he answer me? But he did answer me. And that job that I applied for, I realized wasn't a good thing at all

But it's what's best for us and we have to trust that. And that takes maturity. That takes maturity. I remember crying a few times that I didn't get what I wanted. But down the road I realized that, yeah, that wouldn't have worked out. Yeah, what I got is much better than what I really wanted. And that means, thank you, Lord
