The surface of our history, my love, where your moon murmurings are my teardrops that time will never pull from your voice. Even when my eyelids are too heavy to lift for a beautiful sunrise. They will rise to the color of your eyes without effort to count the threads of our pillows and sheets that cannot unravel. Hey, Steven, thank you for sharing this other side of you. I've been fortunate to hear a lot of your poetry, but this is definitely a different side. Still tender, still thoughtful, still full of beautiful imagery. I think my favorite line is, I will address my armor of over mindfulness. Just absolutely beautiful
