A meeting with Ruskin Bond
So we had this lucky chance of meeting Mr. Ruskin Bond at her residence in Missouri. It was one of those very exciting and humbling experiences in life wherein we were meeting someone who was really popular, who's books we all have read and he was so town to earth. He was so accommodating. My daughter asked him a couple of questions and he answered them with all the ease and no celebrity tandrums at all. We all were literally jumping with joy that oh wow, we got to meet him

And that is the beauty of. I think it's a beautiful thing to finally find out that the author you have loved since your childhood is actually a nice person as well. Is a beautiful person, actually. So, yeah, like I said, it has always been a wish to meet him in person. Still hoping that will be able to someday. But, yeah, this was such a special swell, and it kind of made me really happy
