Aversion of Trust in the Medical Practice

article image placeholderUploaded by @Mommas_Jungle
A small group of physicians has made millions performing unnecessary or incompetent stents in atherectomy procedures on patients with peripheral vascular disease, the narrowing or blockage of arteries carrying blood to the legs, when medical therapy may be better. When these invasive procedures fail, the physicians in hospitals still gain hefty reimbursement, and the patient may lose a leg by amputation. This is MJ. I had someone ask me to post something about my amnesia, and I do not participate in private conversations, nothing personal to anyone

Part 2: In response to the cause of amnesia

I just know that's when it happened. But it was as if I was. My vision was looking through a kaleidoscope that was turning. I wasn't just dizzy, it wasn't just two pictures turning or anything like that. I was totally thrown off balance. I was wobbling side to side, trying to stand upright. I was the first one in. There were people behind me, but they didn't understand what was going on

Part 3: In response to the cause of amnesia

I think it was a confusing time where they didn't know how to help me, they didn't know what to do. And actually, I was like a three year old, you know, I couldn't remember anything. I couldn't cook, I couldn't drive. I couldn't do anything with anything that plugged in. I mean, I was dangerous to myself as well as everyone else. I don't recall actually moving from my father's house into my own place

Part 4: In response to the cause of amnesia

Okay, this is part four. And. And again, please remember that my memory is a little bit dicey, but I had four serious relationships in my life. Two of them. The first two were marriages. The first one was when I was very young. It was just before the amnesia. I was 20, and it lasted till I was 21. And then my second marriage was right after the amnesia

Part 5: In response to the cause of amnesia. The End

This relationship, part five, is I had my second child. He also wanted nothing to do with me. It was a difficult pregnancy. I was in a very bad car accident while I was seven months pregnant. I had risen to being a bus driver and attending school, and it was my fourth time attending school. The first time I was actually going to law school. I wanted to be a lawyer. And the amnesia, of course, got in the way of that

Part 6: In response to the cause of amnesia—The wrap-up

So that is my long term goal. And of course, being able to care for myself so that I never, ever, ever have to rely on anyone else for that. Thank you for listening. If you've been able to listen to all of them, hope it wasn't too boring listening to my life story, but you must admit I did a pretty good job considering it's been 35 years. I wrapped it up in five and a half episodes

But anyhow, that could have had a part to play because you were on such a high, high dose, so that's God awful. But I'm glad you're okay now. And it sure hasn't affected your brain. Now, I had a weird thing happen last night

So I just see you being a huge, huge help to that community and to families going through that. I think you're a terrific, terrific person. You have a very. Also, you know, I mean, this is just very surface level, but you also have a very caring, compassionate tone in your voice. You're very thoughtful. And, yeah, I just think you have something really going here that could be explored. So there you go. Almost sanity out

And finally, in 2015, which wasn't very long ago, I finally graduated, and I had a plethora of awards, including the advanced. No, what is it called? Let me go look at it and see real quick. Oh, yeah, the advanced achievement award. I got that, too. And so I did really well. I've always been a super good student in school. I'm just kind of socially inept
