What’s happened to Prom?
But that's an aside. I'm just wondering what you guys think about buying an expensive prom dress or going to the trouble to find a dress and or a tux or suit and not going with a date. Like, how is this different from other dances? Or are there even dances after sports events anymore? When I was in high school, there was always a dance after a football game, a home football game. Does that not exist anymore? And what do you guys think about going solo?

I had a date, they picked me up at the house, we did that whole thing. We then went to prom, but we still even though we danced with one another and we were there together, we were still hanging out with our friends

Like, nobody went to the prom alone. Nobody went in a group. I mean, that was unheard of. And we usually had it at a big hotel in town, and again, everybody drove themselves or pitched in, and everybody got a limo and whatnot. So it has changed. It has evolved. And I don't know my younger son will be able to go next year. He'll be a junior in high school. He has a girlfriend
