If you had a problem offshore, the sports book says, I'm the judge, jury and executioner and you're out. Whereas in the States with regulated sports betting now they are supposed to make sure that it is a fair bet. Still, there have been stories recently about sports books in the US voiding bets that would have paid out big to the betters
