Poetic conversation- Post your "answer-poem".

article image placeholderUploaded by @mmisery
When I order a tall decaf coffee with milk and I spell my name, they say, you have an accent. This accent is my mother's cleaning houses so I could go to England and improve my English. When I read a poem and your faces change trying to understand what I say and you think you have an accent, this accent is their braided hands delivering the fruit that I will place in your still empty basket. Thank you. Now is your turn

I love this. This is such a good idea. And I really liked your poem. It actually reminded me of this woman that I met this past weekend. I was at a concert, and I was sitting next to her, and she was so full of energy and she was so cool. And your poem reminded me of her a little bit. So I her to haiku carolina is beaming watching the drummer play she's older but young

Though I question why I say answer with pride as it seems that you do and if they can't understand the problem then it isn't you if they want to comprehend clearly what's coming through they would focus with intent on words spoken so true your accent is exotic. A beautiful dance of tongue paths that bear hardships and love songs sung. Yes, we have accents. Stories to pass along. And I hear you clearly, each word revealed like a song. I appreciate that

It. So I'm not going to add my own poem, partly because I'm so far out of practice. It's been more than 20 years since I've tried by hand in poetry. But I do very much appreciate this and I hope to see more things like this across well, because maybe one of them will spark something in me to, like, have somebody give me a starting point to try something again. But very much like the poem as well as the idea
