Making Friends as an Adult
It just seemed like way less work in high school and college to both making and maintaining those friendships. So, yeah, that's just my little Ted talk for the day, is that as an adult, it does take work to creating those friendships and maintaining them. But I think it's definitely necessary because let's say you're in a relationship. I personally think, and this is my opinion, you can't just simply be with your person

And it's something, I think, that maybe in society, they've told us to value a career and a family in the very traditional sense, but there's not a lot of focus on valuing friendship. And I think some of the best relationships that we have in this life are friendships. They're relationships that we learn so much from and they make us better and they challenge us, and I think they're so important to have
