It was not easy starting out, though, because I was feeling, as the metaphor goes, like I had butterflies in my stomach. While I found that social media can be beneficial for people on the spectrum, it's still terrifying to put myself out there and step out of my comfort hurt zone. And as you can tell, I have trouble communicating myself verbally because there's a lot of pause. You'll notice there's some pauses and stumbling with my words, but I do very good

My name is Phil, and I wanted to welcome you to the swell community and tell you that I very much enjoyed your first swell, and you mentioned that it's not easy for you and that you're stepping out of your comfort zone, and I appreciate that greatly. It was so interesting to hear your story, and I just so much appreciated it. And it was very ironic because a good friend of mine who is autistic called his first race at a major horse track today
