Oftentimes, I would say people don't even seek to understand their environment, where their food comes from, how it's produced, what labor goes into harvesting it. Most humans that live in cities probably have no idea of the time invested in a crop, from seedling to when it grows, or even what seasons are best for what produce

We've moved so far away from nature. I wish I could see some studies showing the effects of that on modern life today. But how? Being removed from nature, how has it affected us?
